The lone hill rising from the Elbe plain where, legend says, Forefather Čech looked out over the land and claimed it for his people. On the summit stands the Romanesque Rotunda of St George, rebuilt in 1126.

Good to know
A walk up from the nearest car park – allow a couple of hours there and back, wear proper shoes and take water. The chapel or lookout tower at the top keeps its own, often seasonal, hours.
